The 3D Reconstruction and Simulation of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Anode

The 3D Focused Ion Beam - Scanning Electron Microscopy (FIB-SEM) technique has been used to study the ceramic microstructures with accuracy of tens nanometers. Samples taken from commercial size, 10×10 cm 2 , solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) single cells were reconstructed FIB-SEM tomography. Three samples chosen same production batch, including a without reduction, 5 hours and 80 high temperature test humidified hydrogen, respectively. triple-phase-boundary length volume fractions identified for samples. lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) was simulate physical processed in porous electrode. parameters exchange current density equation fitted polarization curves.
